Exercise For Cellulite
Often referred to as skin with an ‘orange peel’ effect, losing this cellulite is not that easy as the fat cells under the skin are inside the tissue and are difficult to eradicate. This has become a serious cosmetic problem for women all over the world and methods of losing cellulite are sought continually because as women age the problem gets worse. Cellulite treatments are plentiful but losing cellulite is not easy and once you have removed it, certain aspects of your lifestyle must change to ensure it doesn’t return.
Although men can suffer with cellulite, it is mainly found on women, usually at the back of their thighs, tummy and buttocks because of differences in the way the muscle and tissues are distributed. Men generally tend to have lower amounts of body fat, whilst women have higher amounts. The female hormone, estrogen, plays an important role in the formation, and one of the causes of cellulite because it stimulates the storage of fat, which is needed for menstruation, pregnancy, and lactation.
Although not necessarily a direct reason, being overweight is one of the contributing causes of cellulite. During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through a number of changes during which time there is an increase in fat deposits, overall weight gain and the retention of water.

Most experts agree that the best way of losing cellulite is a low calorie balanced diet with food that has high fiber content and to increase the amount of exercise taken. As a cosmetic solution, tanning works quite well, because although the cellulite hasn’t actually gone, it seems to disappear because the dark skin camouflages it. It is still thought that the most common reason why some women are more prone to having cellulite is a hormonal imbalance so losing cellulite with plenty of exercise under these circumstances may not be enough. However, there are other cellulite treatments you can use such as massaging the affected areas, water therapy to flush the system, creams that burn the cellulite and of course giving up the cigarettes.
Some women go one stage further and have liposuction cellulite treatment which removes the cellulite deposits by sucking it out of the skin through small incisions. The fatty deposits are massaged with rollers which combined with the suction, helps to break them down so that the trapped water and toxins are removed. This is one of the more elaborate and expensive methods of losing cellulite and not a form of cellulite treatment every woman wants to undergo.
Although cellulite is not an illness or medical condition it can be an indication of an unhealthy lifestyle in the individual affected. Finding the cause of cellulite in each person is the first step to treating the cellulite and then hopefully as a method of losing cellulite completely.
